Check out Nash's website

I talk to Nash this afternoon, he now has a website where you can view his flutes. Nash lives in Southern California and occasionally makes it up to Northern California for Pow Wow's. Nash makes an impressive array of wooden flutes, bamboo flutes and a variety of clay vessel flutes & whistles. Nash is probably most famous for his Death Whistle (pictured above).

Here's Nash's website: http://www.flutesbynash.com/

I posted an earlier blog entry about Nash: http://naflute.blogspot.com/search?q=death+whistle

Now for something completely different...

If you're looking for something completely different, check out the Zapotec Clay Death Whistle. This is a clay vessel made by Nashtavewa (Nash) who is a native of Mexico in the Oaxaca region, but who now resides in Southern California. Nash has studied the craft of clay flute making with Guillarmo Martinez.
