Things are in full swing as we prepare for Mary Youngblood's birthday party and the annual NCFC Summer Gathering. Everyone is invited to join us, the only requirement is that you must RSVP for the event in order to get the directions and details about the event.
Like years past, we'll once again be celebrating Mary Youngbloods birthday by gathering to play the flute, learn new techniques and fellowship with your fellow fluties. There will be workshops, vendors, an open mic and lot's of food. BUT, this year Mary wanted to expand the event to two days! So we're going to have a day of workshops and open mic's followed by a day of adventure!
If you haven't marked your calendar already, this event is happening on the weekend of June 23-24, in Fair Oaks CA (near Sacramento).

Where: Mary Youngblood's house
Activities: Workshops, open mic, vendors and food!
What: Mary Youngblood's Birthday Adventure day
When: Sunday, June 24
Where: American River and various other sites.
Activities: River kayaking (bring your own kayak), bike ride and hiking. BBQ to follow at Mary's house.
